Welcome to Sparth House
Sparth House is a family-run Georgian manor wedding venue in Clayton le Moors, on the edge of Lancashire's Ribble Valley and just a few minutes from Accrington. The main house was built in 1740 and has been a wedding venue for many years, recognised most recently as Exclusive Wedding Venue of the Year for England at the 2025 English Wedding Awards.
Every wedding here is exclusive-use, so the house, the gardens and the team are yours for the day. Whether you're planning a small ceremony of 40 or a celebration for 100 day and 200 evening guests, the building works at both scales because it was built as a home rather than a function venue.

About Sparth House
Sparth House sits on the edge of the Ribble Valley, a few minutes from Accrington and within 40 minutes of Manchester and Preston. The setting is countryside; the practicality is that it's accessible for guests across the North West.
The building is Georgian, the team is family-run, and the day is yours. From the night before in the Garden Apartment through to breakfast the morning after, the whole house and grounds are reserved for one wedding only. There are 16 bedrooms on site for your overnight guests.
